Support
The Centre is funded by donations, grants and in-kind support from its Advisory Council members, each of whom are committed to upholding the Sporting Chance Principles. Maintaining and safeguarding our independence, integrity, impartiality and reputation are paramount in any donor relationship we enter into and we apply our Donor Policy (available in our Policy Handbook) to all funding agreements.
We engage with constituents across the sports ecosystem and we seek to balance income from a range of governments, foundations, sports bodies, and companies. Donations from sports organisations, sporting event organisers, and corporations go into the Centre’s core funding with no conditions or restrictions attached, while grants from governments and foundations may be programme or project specific with agreed deliverables. We do not provide any fee-for-service work or paid consultancy.
